Finding the top keywords for internet marketing can often be a difficult task. For those of us new to internet marketing this task is almost impossible. But with the following example, it might make it a little clearer. In our example we might try the keyword phrase "lego building plans", but in the search results for WordTracker it only has a search volume of 860 which is a bit lower then I would like to see, but when I check the competition for this term it is almost nonexistent.
We can do this by doing a quick check with the Google search engine; to give a rough idea of the competition. By typing the keyword into the search text box; in this case it is "lego building plans". But when we type in our phrase we do something special with it, we surround it with two quotes so it would look like this "lego building plans", this tells Google we only want to see results of webpage's with just the phrase "lego building plans" in it. Then we hit the search button now.
When Google list out the results we see some number above on the right hand side of the screen, were it would say something like (Results 1 - 10 of about 1,480). Ideally I like to see a number less then 25,000, this means that the amount of competing websites for the keyword phrase "lego building plans" is nearly non existent. The results number is the number for the natural search results. These are the results we would be interested in if we were doing search engine optimization (SEO) for our WebPages.
When we look at the column of results on the right hand side, this gives us an approximate amount of the people advertising on Google AdWords for this keyword phrase and is referred to as the paid results. In this case there are only three or four advertisers. These are results that we might be interested in if were to make an AdWords campaign on Google. To be honest I didn't just think of this phrase "lego building plans", but found it through a lot of trial and error, this is one of the most time consuming task in internet marketing.
When trying to find different phrases, I looked in Google search for terms like "popular toys" or "hot toys" and got ideas from the results to try in WordTracker. By looking at the results in WordTracker for each term, I tried to look for the longer keyword phrases (longtail) variations that had a large search volume of around a 1000 or more a day, and were likely to have low competition.
This process can sometimes take hours to find top keywords. And this is just a preliminary screening for our keywords. I wanted to also mention that this method is often a very good way of finding your niche. Instead of finding your niche first, you sort of let your niche find you. This approach can often root out some really great niches. As you can see when we look for our top keywords first without any one niche in mind, it would be a lot easier to find some great keywords, because we wouldn't have the restraints of being confined to a particular niche. You might be asking how you start a keyword search without even knowing what your niche is going to be.
One method is to do a search in Google by typing something into the search textbox, like "500 most search terms" and then check one of the pages with this information. Look through the list of terms on the page, for services or items that you could find an affiliate program for or something you could make a product for. Using the keyword terms that helped you find the niche, start looking for other keywords based on your new found niche.
You will see a lot of different ways that people doing internet marketing use to find there niches and do there keyword research. This is just one method I use. But there are many variations on how you can do this, some more effective then others. So when doing internet marketing it often pays to use your imagination and be a bit creative in how you find those top keywords.

if you know how a search engine works ,you wouldn’t be asking this question. First part is you have 3 words is must use too search and make sense of what you want, then you cut it down too 1 word ,it then and only then has 1 problem too search for,as long as you spelt it correctly. if you look at the top corner where it tells you how many sites it found that is where you see how your search is improving or not .

For example, if I want to see how much a listing in the first five links for “teacher” costs, at Google or at Yahoo, is there a free tool that will show me what people are paying for those spots?
Yahoo removed the keyword price tool. Furthermore, even if they still had them, it wouldnt give you the exact cost because they use a quality score to determine how much more or less you will pay. That being said, to find out best estimates:
Yahoo: Open your account and click into the adgroup of the keyword. Click the keyword and it will give you an estimate of costs. note (I find that the estimates are way off).

You have to submit your website to the Search engines, and improve your code, links, etc to have a better positioning.
The keywords described as Meta tags will define your positioning.

You need to submit you webpage at Search Engines.
In the case of Google they add and update new sites to their index each time they crawl the web. They do not add all submitted URLs to they index, and they dont make any predictions or guarantees about when or if submissions will appear.
Its up to you to have a clean HTML code using the right keywords to describe it.
You dont need to submit just for Google and Yahoo, you still can submit to diferent engines, but certainly the results with Google and Yahoo will be better.

I really don’t know how to ask this question, but basically, my parents have a website for their business, and they want to know how to be able to put down keywords that, when searched, will lead the inquirer to find their website.

Health dept in GA not free but pretty low cost sliding scale. They can also tell you about free services in and around Lawrenceville/Duluth/Buford etc. You can also call Gwinnett Med Cntr and ask about Indigent care programs for folks with no money. Another possibility is any “Care Center”ie pregnancy crisis center,.I know you are not looking for preg test but they do std too for both men and women.
Something that is for sure free that is just outside Gwinnett is Good News Clinic in Gainesville you need to come up with a Hall County address and some kind of receipt like rent, utility,phone. Not encouraging you to cheat but this is a real serious thing and so you should prolly know that every dollar store and office depot type places sell receipt books.

There are many free databases, but they can be difficult to setup if you’re not skilled with them.
I suggest using a spreadsheet instead of a database, as it’s easier to navigate, and you can add/remove columns & rows quite easily.
There’s a good free solution on Google’s website, or you can use Sun’s Open Office.

How do I find out the keywords for other websites?
For instance how would i find out the keywords orkin uses or terminix uses. IS there some free program that finds out every key word they use to bring in traffic?
There are several tools on the web that can help you figure out those keywords, including SpyFu, SEMRush and KeywordSpy. They all offer a limited amount of information for free. You have to pay to get a full, detailed report.
Another cheap and easy way to discover their keywords is to simply open their website, right-click on a page and View Source. Search the page for a line (near the top) that starts:

Each page of a website can have unique keywords, so if you use this method, be sure to check multiple pages.

I would be very grateful if you could, please, tell me where can I find a tool where I insert a keyword, or just part of it, then get a huge list of keywords and key phrases related to that keyword – so I can click it and have it queried in whatever engine I want.

I am working on my website that sells hat now all i want is to find particular terms that people are using to find hat in the Google and other major search engines. Is there any website that has a free software that will generate those keywords searched for any particular term in this month in search engine? Thanks!!!

You need a gmail account please sign up for one.
In analytics there is a free option that says keyword tool… go for it and choose the words from there… Analytics gives you an option to select some of the keywords and download a file.

How to find out the name of this number that keeps calling me?
I’ve been getting calls from a restricted number for about a month now. Occasionally, they’ll call me on someone else’s phone, but it’s always a Colorado number. How can I find out who the owner of the number is for free? Free being the keyword. All of the websites I’ve looked at for this are telling me I need to pay.
Put the number in on Google, it is possible it could be a sales call or if it is a nussiance call you can report it to the police they will supply you with a incident reference number call you telephone service provided and report it then as you have reported it they can track the number and report it to the police or off you are re-number.
